The quickest way to transport anything between different floors is via scaffolding and platforms or simply through openings in walls. This makes it unnecessary to move the load from a forklift truck to an elevating truck and there is no need to spend time loading and operating lifts or elevating devices. Transport can be carried out smoothly and without any problems. Naturally, a precondition for this concept is continuous safety devices that do not obstruct working.

Safety system material locks are constructed in such a way that one side is always secured. If the material lock is loaded from the front and then opened at the rear for unloading, the front material lock gate closes automatically. There are no gaps in the safety system. Safety material locks can be easily operated without having to use force and do not obstruct transport flows in any way.

Safety that does not take up space
Safety system material locks need only a few centimetres of space on the edge of the platform. The required space towards the platform is only shut off during loading. As soon as the material lock rail on the platform edge is closed, practically the whole of the space is available once again.

Safety must not block paths
Dangerous positions must either be blocked off or secured. The safety devices must not have any gaps, to make sure that all risks are excluded. However, the transport flow must not be obstructed either. Operating them must not be time- or energy-consuming.

Safety against cold and draughts
Safety system material locks can also be used at wall openings to seal them off against cold and draughts. The wall opening is either shut off by a gate on one side to the outside, or on both sides, inside and out.
